Write.info is a free AI writing assistant platform that provides tools for content generation, rewriting, AI detection, humanization, translation, and other writing-related tasks.

Information We Collect

Write.info is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We do not require user accounts, registrations, or signups of any kind. You can use all tools without providing a name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier.

The only information we collect automatically is your IP address, which is used solely for rate limiting purposes. Rate limiting ensures fair access to the service by capping usage at 10 generations per day per user. Your IP address is not linked to any personal profile, browsing history, or usage analytics beyond the rate limit counter.

We do not collect or store:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information (unless you contact us directly)
• Payment or financial information
• Browsing history or page view analytics
• Device fingerprints or advertising identifiers
• Location data beyond what an IP address inherently provides

How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Rate limiting: IP addresses are used to enforce the daily generation limit of 10 requests per user. This prevents abuse and ensures the service remains available to all users.
• Abuse prevention: IP data helps us identify and block automated bots, denial-of-service attacks, and other forms of service abuse.
• Service improvement: Aggregate, non-identifying usage data (such as total daily request counts) may be used to monitor server load and plan capacity. This data is not linked to individual users.

We do not sell, rent, or share IP addresses or any other data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose.

Data Storage and Retention

Text submitted to any Write.info tool is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers. When you submit text for generation, rewriting, detection, or any other function, the text is sent to the processing API, the result is returned to your browser, and the submitted content is discarded. We do not maintain a database of user-submitted text, and your content is not used to train any AI models.

Server usage logs, which may include IP addresses and request timestamps, are retained for a maximum of 3 days. After this period, logs are automatically and permanently deleted. This short retention window exists solely to support abuse detection and rate limit enforcement.

Third-Party Services

Write.info uses the OpenAI API to process text requests across all writing tools. When you submit text to a Write.info tool, your input is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. OpenAI's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policy, which you can review at openai.com/privacy. We use the API tier of OpenAI's service, which means submitted data is not used by OpenAI to train their models.

Write.info does not use any third-party analytics services, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or social media tracking scripts. We do not integrate with Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking platform. No data about your visit is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

Write.info uses minimal or no cookies. The site does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or user profiling. If any cookies are set, they are strictly functional (such as those required for basic server operation) and contain no personally identifiable information. No third-party cookies are loaded on the site.

Children's Privacy

Write.info is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not require accounts or collect personal data, the risk of inadvertently collecting children's data is minimal. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle. All connections to Write.info are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS encryption), which protects data in transit between your browser and our servers. Since we do not require accounts, there are no passwords stored on our systems. The minimal data we do retain (IP addresses in server logs) is stored on secured servers with restricted access.

While we implement appropriate security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data using industry-standard practices.

Your Rights

Even though Write.info collects minimal data, you have rights regarding any information associated with you. You may:

• Request deletion: You can request that any IP-based data associated with your use be deleted from our systems. To make this request, email us at hello@mindtastik.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
• Request information: You can ask what data, if any, we hold that is associated with your IP address.
• Opt out: Since we do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, there is no cookie consent to manage. If you wish to prevent your IP address from being logged, you may use a VPN or similar privacy tool when accessing the site.

We will respond to all data-related requests within 30 days. There is no charge for these requests.
